Love Slowly

I didn't like Romeo and Juliett!! Especially the ending!!! It makes me so mad!! To me the story is unrealistic, and is a very sad and troubling love story. No offense to anyone, but I feel that the story is rather over-rated. Now, don't get me wrong, Shakespear's writing is amazing! He makes me really think about the characters and why they act the way they do. With all of the other authors I have read, I have never thought about why the characters act the way they do, so it is really cool that threw Shakespear's writing I have.

When we first began to read the play, I thought that is was all about love at first sight. Now, after finishing the book, I think that the message is not to love someone so instantly or suddenly, but to fall in love slowly and continue to fall in love with them everyday.

So, my opinions of love after reading this book, have really changed. Before, I wanting to find someone to love instantly, like Romeo and Juliett, but now, what is the point? This play has showed me that there is more to life than just love, and that we shouldn't get so caught up in it.
