HAM! Running for her life!
For the last few pages, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. (I even think I bumped my nose on the book I was so close!) Well. . . Anyway; when Jem and Scout where basically fighting for their lives against Mr. Ewelle, I was in horror. I knew that Mr. Ewelle was crazy, but to KILL two innocent children, just because there father was the lawyer who believed the truth. Well, if that isn't crazy then I don't know what is! Anyway, my favorite part of the whole entire book was in these last few chapters; it was when the character that had been talked about, explained a thousand time, gossiped about, and even harassed finally came in. Yes, I'm talking about Boo Radely. The quiet presence of him in the last pages, just made the whole book seem to come together. From Scout to Boo, this book was wonderful; I really enjoyed it. It all made sense at the end, but it was SO worth reading! (this is one of the few required reading that I actually liked. How about you guys?)
