And the Thunder Rolled. . . and the Thunder Rolled. . .

~Yes, our two lovers finally met in Act 1, Scene 5. What a lovely couple they make too, so naive and not aware of what they are getting themselves into. While the spotlight shines brightly on the "unaware" two, another important character slips by our eyes. An important event, that will more than likely support another act was presented in this scene. This sly, unnoticed anger of tablet slips our minds in this scene, but I have a feeling that it won't be unnoticed later on.
~In the beginning Tybolt makes a clear and boastful statement that he DOES NOT like the Montagues. Well, Romoe being the family he is from does help his situation at the Capulet ball, when Tybolt recognize him. With Tybolt's temper in a flare when Lord Capulet denies him the right to "through" Romoe out, he then leaves. That is what a naive reader might have caught, but I took note of something else. When Tybolt takes notice of Romeo, Romeo is with the lovely Juliet, not until that moment Tybolt takes action. My theory for this action is that Tybolt has a hidden interest in Juliet, only to cover his rash actions with the excuse of the "unknown" feud. Tybolt's rash action is like thunder really, it comes after lighting. Tybolt's actions always come after a big commotion or "disturbance." The draw of his sword at the square, and now the hateful words of anger after the flirting done by Romeo aimed at Juliet. Tybolt is a man who you can see his anger come, it is like watching a storm arrive off of the plains; you can see it coming for miles.
~Tybolt's secret love for Juliet, and a open hate for Romeo and his family. Man this guy has a busy personal life!

Well, that's a new take on the subject! But wouldn't Tybalt also be angry at Paris, another competitor for Juliet's heart? That's just me though, but I agree with you all the same.
