Shakespeare to Today

Watching that movie today in class, I noticed how society is still the same today. We still judge people on how they dress; besides if they have nice clothes or rough looking clothing. If people dress in Abercrombie, we assume that they are rich and probably preppy. On the other hand, if we see someone in all black with dark eye makeup, we think gothic.

I know it sounds so wrong, but it really ties in to what we have been talking about. Racisim and predjudice. It is just another example on how it still exists today.

I can't believe that in Shakespeare's time women couldn't act in the theater! So, for every female role men played it! In today's world there would be a huge controversy if a man played a girl. I guess times have really changed.

So, I found this link about Shakespeare. Check it out! It is actually pretty cool! : )
See everyone tomorrow!

That site is awesome, I think i'll have to take some of those quizzes. You made an interesting point in your post, and i agree, even though their language was different, we still have the same social status ladder. Good point.
