I know that right now we are supposed to be writing our first drafts, but I just can't really concentrate. I decided to write a letter to the governor of Louisiana from Uncle Isom. Remember him? You know the old guy at the very beginning of Jane Pittman who didn't leave with everyone from the plantation. Anyway, I am writing about how the Emancipation Proclamation changed the south and the effects of it.

I am curious about how I will enjoy Romeo and Julliett. I have heard that the reading is pretty hard. I have seen the end of the movie, but I really do not know the whole story. Hopefully, I will love the book, but I guess we will wait and see. Has anyone read it already? I hope that someone has, because I will probably be asking a lot of questions about the book! : )

Hope our basketball and swim girls do really good tonight! Good luck!

I have read parts of it. It seems somewhat easy even though wording is hard at some points.

That's a neat idea for your paper! I want to read it when you're done!
