Thou art a...



Today in class we worked on our second draft, and played with Shakespeare insults. I thought that this was alot of fun. The only thing that worried me was the fact that I could be calling someone a nasty name, but if I did my team mates knew as much as I did on the old english words, so they were probably on the same boat. Also we looked at the prologue on the over-head. I thought it was awesome that it broke up into, short-long; short-long; short-long...and so forth. Like the first line...

TWO houseHOLDS both Alike IN digNIty...

and so on to the last line. If he wrote the whole play like that, that would be amazing! But I can see why he didn't, it would take a while. Also I found a Shakespeare site you might like. It's about a highschool who wanted to prove that Shakespeare wasn't just "stuffy stuff."...well I'll let you read it.
