Tom vs. Mayella

Chapers 18 and 19 were very exciting! I really liked reading about the trial. I love all the smart wise talk that lawyers do when they are in court.

Scout is so smart! She follows everything that goes on in the courtroom, and knows exactlly what everything means! Oh, not to remind you, Scout is only in first grade!!!!! I can hardly understand what is happening without reading things twice! This girl has yet to disapoint me.

I think that Tom Robinson's story is more believable. I was really anxious to hear what his side was, since we only knew what Mayella said happened.

I thought that it was weird that Mayella got so offended when Atticus spoke to her saying ma'am and asking her simple questions. I can't believe that she has no friends. I have never met someone who doesn't have atleast one friend! How lonely would it be to not a have friend?

I am excited to read what the verdict is in the courtroom. I hope that Atticus will win, I think that Tom is telling the truth. Any predictions on what will happen? Or does anyone think they have solved the case? I really have no clue, so I want to hear from you!
