The Trial

This part was so exciting I didn't want to put down the book. Before I knew it I had read all the way to the 19th chapter! I wonder who's going to win the case, the "victum", or Tom Robinson. I personally think that Tom had nothing to do with the girl (what's her name again? something Ewell?) She is probably blaming him so her dad can get away with beating her. It's a bit strange that she's protecting her dad, but maybe she doesn't want to get beaten up again and she's doing it out of fear. The evidence is against the Ewells but then again Tom is black so how will it end?

I agree, sometimes, hurting others seems like the right thing to do when protecting others, it seems like an okay sacrifice but its not.
