Go Town!
I finally finished the book! I know, I know, almost everyone has, but I was behind, most of the tiime, and had to read almost all of it last night. I finished the rest during the Mario, whatever assembly. I know, I can't believe I am admitting this, but just for those who think they can "catch up" it's harder than it looks. So don't fall behind! Now I just finished the test and I am now posting. (Duh!) But onto the book.
The Known and Unknown! What a remark! I loved that line, cause it is soooo
oooooo understandable. I am talking about when Cassie realizes that it was her father that set the cotton on fire. I thought it was amazing that the WHOLE town pitched in to help put out the fire. They were working together to find a way to stop the fire. People barley realized that they were working with African Americans. That is an awsome part of the story I thought. I liked it because the whole town put aside their differences to help keep the fire from destrooying their forest. Woho go town! If you haven't finished the book, you need to. It is actualy good. I know the test is over and some one might think why finish when the test is done. But, I highly suggest reading it. I can't tell you the message because I know it, but it is hard to explain. I loved the ending! So finish reading " Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry".

Your picture is pretty powerful. Kinda shocking too. I didn't read Roll, so I really don't know what you are talking about, but I wanted to know where you found that picture?
