Well...that's unfortunate...
When I saw the movie on To Kill a Mockingbird I was really dissapointed. I expected so much more from such a wonderful book. In its defense though, the trial scene was flawless and it was the social norm to devise short movies, but such a short time isn't nearly long enough to cover all of the delicate details of the book. The message of love and tolerance was a hundred times clearer in the book than it was in the book. The ending was coming along beautifully until the end when she stood on Boo Radley's porch in self reflection, that's when I knew that so much more could be possible. If I were in charge of the screenplay, I would try to make a small segment that reviews all of the times that Scout had passed by the Radley house as if she were in thought. How would you change the movie, if any change were necessary?
