To Kill A Mockingbird

Today, we took a test over To Kill a Mockingbird. One question I found quite interesting was the question about the Mockingbird metaphor. I thought that in the story Harper Lee put that metaphor into 3 characters very beautifully. For instance, Atticus never gives the cold shoulder to anyone. He's not even mean to Bob Ewell. Tom Robinson (as everybody knows) was my favorite character and was such a good man. I just don't understand why someone who was as nice as him would be shot. The best example of a Mockingbird I thought was Boo Radley. I was wrong to think that he was a bad person. He just sits back and observes all of the other characters just like a Mockingbird. He does his own thing and sings his own song just like a Mockingbird would do. I really respect the beauty of the story.
