Compassion:Courage

Courage can be many things. It can be as simple as a hello to someone who is socially 'uncool'. It could be walking away from a situation that you know is wrong. Courage is big things, too. Like running into a burning building or one of the many men and woman who worked during the day of 9/11. I believe that everyone has courage in them, it is just a matter of finding it.
Courage has a way of coming out sometimes. I mean in situations that seems that no one could handle or move on, it seems then that courage is shown the most.
From all of our readings we have read, courage is shown. Odyessus had the courage to listen to the gods and godesses and do what they told him to do. In Mockingbird, it took courage for Jem to go and read to Mrs. Dubose to make up for his bad actions. In Jane Pittman courage was displayed alot, but I think that it is the ending that it's displayed the most. This is when everyone decided to still go and protest, even though their ring-leader wasn't there. I hope that everyone displays some type of courage in their lifetime.
