This is my alternate ending for Romeo and Juliet. Just as Romeo begins to drink the potion, Juliet wakes up and calls for Romeo. Seeing that she's alive, he immediately throws the poison to the ground and goes to his lover. Before the families can find them, the two steal away into the night and ride to Mantua, where they can live in peace. It's not very detailed, but this is really how I would like the alternate ending to be like.
