Guilty!! What?!?!?!?!

I just got done reading Chapters 20, 21, and 22, and I am pretty shocked about what happened! The reading went by so fast!

In Chapter 20, Mr. Dolphus Raymond told Dill and Scout about how he is not drinking beer in the bags that he covers his drink in, it is only Coke! I think that it is pretty hilarious! I guess I understand why Mr. Dolphus Raymond lets everyone think that it is beer, so he has an excuse for acting the way he does. See, if people knew that he didn't drink then they would think he was mental. Anyone else think that's why he lets people think he is an alcholic?

Atticus discovered that Jem, Dill, and Scout had been in the courtroom during the whole trial in Chapter 21. I was surprised that Atticus didn't get really upset at the three of them, especially since he told them not to be there. My parents would probalby have yelled and scolded me infront of the everyone. The biggest part of this whole chapter was Atticus losing the case! I can and yet can't believe it! Do you think that the only reason they charged Tom guilty is because he is black? I pretty much do!

Now, why did Mr. Bob Ewell spit right in Atticus's face? I mean, Ewell won, so what was the point of spitting in his face?

Hope everyone's weekend has been fun! Comment me! I like hearing from everyone!
