Hummingbird/Take the Bad with the Good

Yes I know that the story is To Kill A Mockingbird but last night I called Hana and she said she was working on the Hummingbird story.

Anyway this story has really grown on me. It was really bugging me that I had to look up so many words, but I guess that's the bad I have to take to read such a beautiful written book. Harper Lee has really done a marvelous job.

I have to say that my favorite part of the book so far has been when Jem and Scout were using a fishing pole/rod (which ever you prefer) to get the note to Boo Radley. I thought back on my childhood memories, not a specific one, because when I was little my sisters and I were like that with one of our neighbors. Our parents were mad at us because we named the neighbors the "Vampire" because We swore (I know, a bad habit I no longer do) they only came out at night.

At the beginning of the story I thought that Scout was a boy, but Jacob asked in class and I as well as some other students found out for sure that Scout is actually a girl.
