Book vs Movie

Personally, I liked the book better than the movie, just like almost everyone else. Actually, did anyone like the movie better than the book? Not that I want to argue with you or anything, but I'd like to know why.
I almost never agree with the actors that directors pick to play characters of books. For instance, I read the book Inkspell by Cornelia Funke, which is an AMAZING book, and I recently found out that they are making a movie out of it. But then I saw some of the actors and now I dont want to see the movie because the actors are not at all what I imagined. But in Mockingbird, I actually liked the actors! for the most part, with the exception of Dill, they were pretty much what I imagined them to be like.
