Jane's Over...
I really liked the story of Jane Pittman, although like everyone else I was surprised to learn it was fiction. Jane Pittman's character was strong, determined, and courageous. Jane wasn't afraid of anything. I admire her in this book because she never gave up on anything.
It was hard to tell while reading it, but when I finished I realized how many characters the book had! It was hard to remember the most imporant characters of one chapter after you had read about 30 pages. I really liked Jane, Ned, and Jimmy. Ned and Jimmy reminded me a lot of eachother.
I enjoyed reading about Jane Pittman's life, it was really interesting. At first I wanted it to be true, but then again who would wish someone really went through something like that? Almost everyone she met died. She outlived every character we met in the book. Jane Pittman lived to be about 110 years old and fought everyday of her life.

I really look up to Jane. She is everything you said, and sooo much more. This book was soooooo good! It is really powerful, and makes you think about the events that happen. I wish it was true! I understand what you mean about why would we want someone to live Jane's life, but I think that anyone would be honored to have met and been apart of her life.
