Merry Thanksgiving/Christmas Feast!!!

Did anyone get to the part of Roll of Thunder when Christmas came? The food sounded really good for the Depression years. It's kind of similar to what my family would eat during Thanksgiving (minus a few things plus a turkey.) It also seemed like a pretty happy, laid back time...besides the brooding shadow of racism in the Logan household and Uncle Hammer making repeated vows to bash the Wallace's and the Simm's skulls in, those two would have had it coming though because they were so horrible to the black people! The kids each got a book: Stacey got the Count of Monte Cristo, Christopher and Little Man shared Aesop's fables, and Cassie got The 3 Musketeers. Just this weekend, I learned that the man who wrote the Count of Monte Cristo and the man who wrote The 3 Musketeers were brothers! Tomorrow, I'm going to New Mexico to my Grandparent's house to celebrate Thanksgiving, and my favorite is going to be there... PUMPKIN PIE!!! So I'm going to wrap this all up by asking what is your favorite Thanksgiving food and where are you going for Thanksgiving? Bye:)

I don;t like pumpkin pie. Actually I don't like any kind of pie, just the chocolate pie that my grandpa makes. I am going a ways away to my grandparents house. It's funny because they live in a town with a population of 1200 or something. I love it tho because I love small towns.
