how come every time i get on a laptop it doesnt seem to like me? it NEVER works. but anyways, about the book, heres whats happening so far in order.

-jane gets her name before that she was called dicey.

-they flee the plantation.

-big laura dies and jane takes care of ned.

-they met the hunter then the odd old man.

-they then go to work for mr. bones.

-ned leaves and jane gets married (she just starts living with mr. pittman. cause in the book she says she didnt need to be married in a chruch cause in the other days the slaves would jump over a broom.)

-some time later, mr. pittman dies.

-ned comes back along with a wife and kids.

-ned dies, he was shot be albert cluveau (who does not go to jail cause he a white man just shot a black man)
