i was just looking at the sites that ms. james gave us to read. i went onto the

emmette till site where the murderers confessed. i thought it was very strange that

emmette died just cause he whistled at a white woman. and the murderes J. W. Milam

and Roy Bryant, though they went to the trial they were INNOCENT! that shocked me

how could a emette have died while his murderers came out of the trial innocent.

before i came to this class i didn't even think that racism was this bad in the

1900's and so. and to think it still exist, maybe im just naive but i thought there

wasnt as much racism anywhere anymore.
