Dead? What Do You Mean DEAD!

I can't believe Tom is gone. Literally, gone. Attaches tried to hard and now Tom will never be free, that is SO not fair. Climbing over a fence, trying to escape and is then shot 17 times. Not once, not twice, but 17! That is going to leave a mark! What I was thinking was what was Scout doing while Tom died a potential escapee. Our favorite nine year old was probably sitting in her livingroom, listing to the old ladies ramble on and on. How terrible is that; looking at it from a different point of view, I think both Tom and Scout suffered that afternoon. Now my mind drifts to the state of Tom's family. How are they going to take the news? What is going to happen to them? WHAT CAN GO WRONG NEXT?!?!?!?!?!?
