SPIT WARS!

The whole town is in a buzz! I mean, the trail was a HUGE event, but the reaction of the people just makes me sick. When the trial was going on, they acted like it was a big show. To watch an innocent man be convicted is not my type of entertainment. Well, Tom is convincted and that means Atticus lost the trial; case closed. NOT! Now the block whispers behind Atticus' back and to top it off Scout and Jem are getting it too. It is as if Atticus' family is just as guitly as Tom Robinson. It seems as if nothing is going as it should be. Spit Wars is what I call it, everyone is throughing mean, hateful commets to Scout's family and there is nothing she can be to fight back. Spit Wars, now there is something new. (and Mr. Ewelle is on top of it!)
