Smarticles!

For a nine-year old Scout is one of the brightest I have ever seen. When her class was taking about the trouble over is Germany, she picked up on something that the town of Maycomb was still struggling with. The topic that amazed me that she understood so clearly was the hate and racism in her world and the world around her. It seems that the young and the innocent are the true brilliant minds in our world. They see the world around them in a different view than adults. She is so bright and so RIGHT!
*P.S.- Happy Halloween!

I definately have to say that Scout is really smart for a first grader! I probably bet she knows more about somethings than what I do now, sad to say. It is true that young children see the world way different than adults. I think that if everyone's mind was a young child's, a lot of things would be different in this world!

Long story short, my lil cousin was telling me that I had a lot of smarticles in me. When I asked her what she ment she clearly stated in her come-on-get-with-the-program voice, "There what makes a girl like me smart." So then on, when refuring to a smart or witty person; smarticles is what comes to mind in my house.
