Diamond in the Rough. ..

When looking at something we naturally take quick observations. If it be a mountain for example, we might look at it for a split second and take note if there is a mountain pass. Well, looking at a human being we also take mental notes on them. Some of the first things that shoot through one's mind might be what clothes their warning, or who they hang out with, what ethnic group they come from, or even what kind of family they belong to. It is natural, but yet so deceiving and harsh. We make observations, without knowing it, and because of these mental notes we sometimes miss out on great experiences. If it being missing the view on the mountain path because it is too "long," or missing out on making a new friend. We must look beyond the exterior, and look to what truly matters the most.
