I just started 'Where the Heart Is' by Billie Letts. It has been really good so far. It is about a seventeen year old girl, Novalee, who gets staranded at a Wal-Mart in Oklahoma. Her boyfriend dumped her there, leaving Novalee with just $10, oh and did I mention that she is pregnant with his baby! Isn't he a jerk! Anyway, they turned the book into a movie, has anyone seen it? I have heard that the movie is good, so I am looking forward to finishing the book.
In class I chose'The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman'. I picked it because I love to hear stories from old people. I know it sounds kinda silly, but it is true. They have learned so much and have a ton of advice to give. So, I figured that this book would be full of fun-filled stories and good advice, since the lady in it is 100 years old. My great-grandma lived to be 105! Then she died shortly after her last birthday, when I was in first grade. Does anyone have anybody in their family who has lived to be older than 105? How old is the oldest person in the world? That would be cool to figure out! Comment me!

WOW! your grandma was 105 years old? Do you remember her very well? I dont think that I have any realatives that have lived to be over 100, but my great grandma is 90 and still in great health, so I hope she makes it to 100!

That is also a movie...and I love it! It is really good for people our age to read because you see what happens when you get in a bad relationship. Also it shows how you can get your life back on track even when everything does go wrong. Nice post.
