That's that...
ell, it's too bad the book's over. The story really connected the dots well though, at the end everything made perfect sense. I also liked how everything seemed so innocent coming from a little girl but it was in fact really dark. Especially at the tea party when the ladies pretended to feel sorry for the Mrunas but couldn't be nice to the African Americans at home because they were "sulky." I thought that Mr. Ewell was a big mean pig, but I thought it was kind of funny because he took such pride in living by a stinking dump in complete squalor. The small African American community lived by the dump too, but they actually took care and made their area look attractive and hospitable. This book kind of reminded me of Holes by Louis Sachar, which is also a really good book.
