Where The Heart Is

So, the other book I am reading is really good! It is Where the Heart Is. It is about a seventeen year old girl Novalee Nation. She is pregnant, and eventually has her baby in a Wal-Mart. Novalee names her baby Americus. The reason why she had her baby in Wal-Mart is because she was living in the store. See, her boyfriend dumped her there! Oh my gosh, what a lame guy! I would be soooooooo mad if my boyfriend just left me in a town I didn't know! What would you do? I mean, Novalee has no money, and deciedes that the only place she can live at is Wal-Mart. She sneaks through a back door just before the store closes, and hides in a closet till everyone has left. Then, in the morning she leaves Wal-Mart before any of the workers show up.

Luckily Novalee starts to make some friends in the small town is is at. She befriends the librarian, and a woman named Sister Husband. Sister Husband, and that is not her real name, takes Novalee in after she has Americus.

This is a really good book. It also is a fast read! I know that they made a movie based on this book, so I will watch it when I am finished with the book. Hopefully I will like!
