Jane Pittman Forever

Jane is an adult now, and she never did make it to Ohio. I wonder if she will go there someday, just because of how determined she was and how she kept saying she was going because, "That's where I started for..." Jane is a very strong and brave person, she raised a child when she was a kid herself. I thought it was really sad when Ned left, but I think he did what was best for himself and Jane. He kept doing what he believed was right and what kept Jane safe. After Ned left Jane married Joe Pittman. They moved to a place where he broke horses and Jane knew that this one horse was going to kill Joe. She did everything she could to prevent this and he ended up being drug to death by the horse. Jane said that no man would ever take the place of Joe and that's why she kept the name Jane Pittman for the rest of her life.
